Responsibilities:
- This is an exciting opportunity to help define the future of mobile virtual and augmented reality.
- As a member of the XR product engineering team at Qualcomm, you will involve test virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies within the next generation of SnapdragonTM mobile processors for smartphones, AR glasses, head mounted display devices.
- We are looking for tester with a passion for Computer vision, SLAM, 3D graphics and video technologies
- Design, development, and implement automation test cases for XR products.
- Test areas include:
- Motion tracking (3DOF/6DOF) function
- SLAM accuracy
- Plane detection
- Graphics, display and 3D audio
- System KPI (Latency/FPS/)
- XR apps
- XR stability
- XR Competitive analysis
- Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Develop automation script for VR and AR KPI test with motion capture system Develop new test cases or test app Test execution and report Issue initial triage Lab set up for XR testing
Requirements:
Skills/Experience
the following disciplines required:
•2-5 related working experience
•Computer vision (object recognition and motion tracking)
• 3D graphics rendering
• Video processing/compression/streaming
• Mobile display technologies
• Heterogenous Computing
• Game engines (e.g. Unity, Epic, etc.)
• programming language like C/C++/python
