Job Description:

You will be based in our Wroclaw office as part of our Client Capabilities Network (CCN). You will be a member of our Cost Engineering and Product Development team cooperating with a group of experienced engineers.

Our more than 2,500 client capabilities professionals across the globe work alongside our consultants to deliver Change that Matters to our clients. They support our consultant teams, both remotely and at client sites, in an agile and targeted way. Further, they are core to our firm’s R&D, developing new knowledge and building and refining proprietary capabilities (e.g. assets, data sets), as well as curating, managing, and maintaining them. Our portfolio includes state-of-the-art research, asset-backed and rapid diagnostics, benchmarking, and workflow support. Our professionals have deep expertise and are able to apply a broad range of methodologies for specialized on-demand analyses.

Responsibilities:

You will develop virtual reality environments and prepare functionalities to interact with them, as well as enable cross-functional collaboration in product development.

In this role, you will help the group of experienced R&D engineers to visualize product concepts basing on ideas generated after detailed analysis. You will also prepare virtual trainings for industrial and safety applications. You will develop new features of environments to leverage vast opportunities of virtual and augmented reality to bring product development to the next level. Among those features, you will work on virtual collaboration spaces, behavior analysis leveraging eye-tracking and rapid redesign. On a daily basis, you will use Unity game engine and various VR/AR devices (HTC Vive Pro, Oculus Quest, Microsoft HoloLens and more), 3D modeling and scanning software (Blender, SolidWorks), motion and eye-tracking hardware, haptic feedback devices.

This internship program will enhance your professional and personal development through mentoring and coaching sessions with tenured colleagues. This will last up to 12 months with a minimum of 20 work hours per week. You will have the opportunity for a permanent role depending on the success of your internship.

Requirements:

  • 3rd or 4th year university student focused on informative technologies or engineering
  • Strong interest in game development
  • Knowledge of Unity game engine
  • Programming skills in C#, C++ is an asset
  • Good knowledge of 3D modeling (CAD, Blender, 3DS Max, Maya, etc.) software is an asset
  • Very good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing
