Job Description:

The Digital Producer is crucial to the overall strategy, execution and success of all digital projects for Borshoff and our clients. The Digital Producer builds and maintains a team of digital designers, architects and developers who utilize the latest standards and technical skills to develop websites, apps, augmented and virtual reality, and artificial intelligence technologies, as well as, integrate with social media platforms, mobile devices, APIs, CMS, CRM, marketing automation tools and analytics programs.

This position collaborates with account staff, creative directors, art directors, video production, and designers, as well as advertising media teams to maximize reach and impressions through digital media. The Digital Producer ensures sound user experience strategies and flawless executions of ideas across all platforms while constantly pushing innovative digital ideas, growing technical skills, and knowledge of digital marketing, trends and new technologies.


  • Build and maintain a core digital team of proficient developers through internal development and resource partnerships
  • Counsel project teams and direct development teams on website and app development
  • Work with senior leadership to develop a vision and actionable plan to expand and strategically grow Borshoff’s digital expertise and capabilities—as well as forecast staffing needs
  • Develop policies and processes to improve digital execution workflow and efficiencies
  • Create a business development strategy and assist in selling Borshoff’s digital capabilities
  • Work with account and creative leads to develop and pitch digital marketing ideas directly to existing and prospective clients
  • Design tools and digital solutions for new business pitches and capabilities presentations
  • Coordinate with client teams to determine objectives, budget, background information, and web approaches, needs and technical requirements
  • Work directly with account leads to develop project and campaign timelines
  • Craft documentation on project requirements for client approval
  • Consult and work directly with clients on all digital projects
  • Oversee and lead development and implementation of digital projects for agency and clients
  • Develop, maintain and oversee quality assurance testing methods for cross-platform and cross-device stability
  • Proactively seek new technologies to drive innovation for agency and clients
  • Understand, implement and advise client teams on onsite/offsite SEO implementation, including social media activation
  • Audit agency and clients’ digital marketing strategies by reviewing analytics and make performance and user-experience improvement recommendations
  • Contribute to the development of estimates, scopes of work and timelines for all digital projects  
  • Work closely with art directors, writers and designers to effectively translate visual concepts into functional digital assets using industry best practices
  • Create and present site maps, wireframes, prototypes, requirements and technical documentation, etc. to clients
  • Develop written rationales to support recommendations
  • Manage team to work within budget and timeline requirements
  • Research and maintain an extensive knowledge of the latest hardware, software, media, techniques and trends
  • Share new standards, trends and knowledge to expand digital capabilities across the agency and challenge the status quo
  • Position yourself as a thought leader in digital marketing within the agency and in the community



  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience
  • Bachelors degree  


  • Expert knowledge of development technologies, development capabilities and best practices
  • Expert knowledge of cross-platform, device compatibility and quality assurance testing
  • Proficient in UI design basics and UX principles and how they apply to digital applications
  • Proficient in guiding design, layout and concepts in a team environment, and directing the creation of assets used for digital development
  • Proficient knowledge of the capabilities of various CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, Sharepoint, etc)
  • Proven experience in presenting complex technical details to clients and team members using relatable language while seeking confirmation of audience comprehension and understanding
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of integrated communications, including advertising, marketing and public relations
  • Strong desire to seek innovation and the latest technologies available
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Willing to ask questions and/or seek direction when unsure of prioritization or next steps
  • Ability to work as a valued team member with willingness to compromise and desire to collaborate
