As part of a small, passionate team of industry experts we will work together and develop our Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR and AR) toolsets and workflows, which are used in product development and support. This position will directly impact quality, design iteration cycles, manufacturing processes, and time market that will bring further exploration of space. You will help develop VR software for a variety of design and development applications. Set up, maintain, and constantly improve VR hardware setup with evolving VR hardware landscape. Research latest developments in AR and VR industry and network with industry leaders to ensure Blue Origin is using the hardware and software on the forefront of the industry. Host VR collaboration sessions and technology demonstrations and work with design teams on methods and best practices for data management and 3D model optimization. In your role you will advise on path finding of new tools, methods, or application of technology, and provide technical support to all extended reality ( XR ) users across the company.
